The National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2), the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds, and Gust: the universal platform for early stage financing present “How do Entrepreneurs Raise Angel and Seed Funding? An online certificate course on early stage fundraising.” This online course will allow participants to learn how angels and early-stage investors identify promising startups, what needs to be in the business plan, how to build effective leadership teams, how to do a deal and what terms to avoid, and what to do after a business receives funding. The course is intended for researchers, entrepreneurs, service providers, and tech transfer personnel who are involved in raising funding for startup businesses.
The course will begin on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 3:30 P.M. and will consist of five 90-minute webinars. Tuition for the course is $297. Students and post-docs may provide verification of their status to receive a discounted rate of $75 for the entire course. Registered students who achieve 60% or greater on the final exam will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion.
