Help Tulane startups win the People’s Choice Award at the Rice Business Plan Competition

This weekend, two Tulane startups are competing in the Rice Business Plan Competition and need your votes to win the People’s Choice Award and $5,000 in cash. Click here to cast your vote!

Bioinnovation Ph.D. students Nick Pashos and Derek Dashti each have a startup competing among 42 total companies competing for more than 60 awards and $1.3 million in prize money. Nick’s company Bioaesthetics is developing an off-the-shelf product to provide complete nipple and areola replacement after a mastectomy. Derek founded D&P Bioinnovations, which is developing an implantable device to repair damage to a patient’s esophagus.

GCIPA Fall Meeting – November 4, 2015

The GCIPA will hold its fall meeting on November 4, 2015, in conjunction with the Tech Transfer Team at Stennis Space Center. The meeting will run from 8:30 AM to 6 PM at INFINITY Science Center at Stennis.

Member pricing: $35 before Oct. 16, $40 from Oct. 17 to on-site registration.

Non-member pricing: $45 before Oct. 16, $50 from Oct. 17 to on-site registration.
